Stress: The Problem We Ignore Every Day

Hi dear readers,

I often wonder… do my words reach you the way I feel them? Because while I write to connect, I sometimes feel a silence in return. Today, I don’t just want to write—I want to talk to you. And I truly hope you talk back.

I’m feeling stressed these days… and even as I write this, I realize—I started straight with the problem. But isn’t that what stress does to us? It takes over before anything else.

It makes us angry for no big reason, forget small things, stay negative, eat unhealthy, and slowly lose control over ourselves. And I know I’m not alone in this. If you feel the same, tell me your reasons too… let’s talk in the comments.

But the real question is—why are we so stressed?

Maybe because we keep everything inside. We try to handle everything alone. Or worse, we share it with someone who isn’t really listening. I’ve done that too… and it hurts more than staying silent.

We keep worrying—
“What if this happens?”
“What will I do next?”

Career, marriage, kids, family, friends… the list never ends. And yes, it’s normal. But just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s harmless.

Stress doesn’t stay inside us. It spreads—
into our health,
our relationships,
our happiness.

It affects us mentally, physically, and emotionally.

And healing… is not instant. It takes time.

So take a pause. Understand what’s stressing you. Be patient with yourself. Talk to someone who truly listens—not just to reply, but to understand.

If you trust someone, share your burden. You don’t have to carry everything alone.

Give yourself time. Free your mind. And slowly… find your way back to a lighter, happier life. And if this feels like your story too…

don’t stay silent this time.

Let’s talk in the comments.

Yes. At times all we need is someone to be there not to solve our issues but just to listen. To hear us out. Those who have someone like that are really lucky.

In this fast running world nobody cares about emotions, people are working like machines with a dream to have a luxurious life, but when you ask them do they even have time to enjoy that life, the question remains unanswered.

Stress not only damages your brain it affects your health too. No time for food, not enough sleep, living in state of anxiety constantly is extremely harmful.

I wish people learn that having their “me time” is a necessity and not luxury.
Loving yourself doesn’t mean buying good clothes or jewellery for yourself, it means putting your mental peace first before anything else.
So whenever something stresses you out, take a step back, calm yourself down and talk to someone.

Thank you so much for sharing this you’ve expressed it so beautifully.

It’s true—sometimes we’re not looking for solutions, we just need someone who genuinely listens and understands. And yes, having that kind of person in life is truly a blessing.

I completely agree with you about how fast-paced life has become. In the race to achieve more, we often forget to pause, to breathe, and to actually live the life we’re working so hard for.

You’re absolutely right—stress doesn’t just stay in the mind, it slowly affects our entire health and lifestyle. And the point you made about “me time” really stands out. It’s not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Prioritizing mental peace is one of the purest forms of self-love.

Thank you for adding such depth to this conversation. I hope more people read your comment and take a moment to reflect.
