The Priceless Love of a Mother

I’m glad that you liked my last blog, and some of you even replied to it. I know it’s difficult to express your feelings and views. Everyone expresses themselves in a different manner.

Today is Mother’s Day. On this day, we celebrate motherhood and spend time with our mothers to express our feelings. But can’t we do these things on any other day as well? I know you may say that I’m also doing the same thing as everyone else. But I’m just discussing why we express love only on a particular day.

I just took a break and wanted to say a few words about my mother. But don’t worry, it is connected to today’s blog topic.

In my childhood, my mother used to celebrate our birthdays, but she never celebrated her own birthday because she knew nobody would cook something special for her, and no one really knew what she liked — not even her husband.

As we grew up, we started ordering cakes for her. Slowly, we began giving her birthday presents, and that’s when we started learning about her choices — what she likes and what she doesn’t. Now we all live in different places, but we still try to stay connected and give her the best we can on special occasions.

Now, back to the topic — do we really need special days to show someone love or appreciation? Why don’t we celebrate people whenever we meet them? Good moments can happen at any time.

But yes, please celebrate Mother’s Day in a special way and try to give your mother love, respect, and most importantly, your time. She will surely feel grateful and bless you with all her heart. She only needs the same love that she has given us throughout her whole life.

I also want to say to my mumma — thank you for your love, care, and support. Nobody in life can love a child as selflessly as a mother does. Your work is not for a price — it is priceless. We can only say thank you for everything you have given us, even your heartbeat and sleepless nights.
